Bug Description
Was resuming desktop PC in the morning after suspending the previous night. First time I have tried this. On pressing the power-on button on the case, the keyboard, mouse, and monitor did not respond (USB mouse & keyboard had no power [e.g. no light on the mouse's sensor], and the monitor had no signal). Had to hold down the power button to force the computer to turn off, and then boot normal. All of the suspended state/open-apps/etc were lost.
This was Ubuntu 9.10, so I will try upgrading this system to the latest 10.04 in a few weeks, and will retry suspend/resume with that release & see if still happens, and will add a comment with the results.
ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly.

Have upgraded now, but I don't have a "suspend" item in the user switcher applet in Ubuntu 10.04 (do have "Log out", "hibernate", "restart", and "shutdown"). Is there some way of adding the suspend option, or does its omission means that suspending is not supported on this hardware?
