Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

If you try and add a PPA (such as Mozilla daily) and the server can't resolve the key it crashes. It's also screwed up my /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ which I had to RM the packages out of the file to resolve it I have recreated it plenty of times.

Most likely a crash with the software-properties-kde tool that KPackageKit runs to handle this sort of thing.

If you can reproduce this crash, could you run "kdesudo software-properties-kde" in Konsole and paste the output here please? Thanks in advance.

I'll post back with the results by the end of today it seems to only affect certain servers?

Ok, well I'm having trouble reproducing the error now. What happened was I used the find "best server" option and now it doesn't give me the same I.P. and it seems to have been removed completely I can't find it again I tried several different servers and all of them so far have recognized the PPA and obtain the key just fine so it seems to only affect servers which timeout trying to recover the key. If I can find the server again I'll post back the Konsole results but right now it's normal through out the terminal.
