Bug Description

Binary package hint: netspeed

Currently netspeed applet forgets counted net traffic when computer is turned off.

Lots of users, who are connecting to Internet though 3G or other modem needs to know their monthly internet traffic, because mobile internet providers sets the monthly traffic limits (for example I pay 10 Euros and get 5GB internet traffic every month).

It would be very useful if netspeed-applet would have a initial Date option to start count in settings, and a one more field to show the accumulated traffic in MB (or KB).

Good traffic counter example is gtraffic software (see http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/gtraffic ), but it only works with network-manager and 3G modems :(
