Bug Description

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

The /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file created during scripts/init-top/blacklist is not copied to the real root /etc/modprobe.d/ so as soon as udev starts again on the real root filesystem, the blacklist is ignored.

As an example, if i915 loading hangs your system, this bug is very exciting as everything tries to load it, in initramfs, in real root, and when X tries to start.
