Bug Description

Not a bug, more a suggestion for Me TV 1.2.4:

Please reverse the oder of the Buttons "Close" and "Record" in the Window "Programmedetails".
This would fit more into GUI Standards, i would think.

Also i would think for German Language "Programmdetails" are better as "Programmedetails", btw.

best regards

We are now at version 1.2.6 (1.3 is on the way) and some work has been done on the GUI. I suggest you to update to the latest version to see if that is in order.

In the launchpad me-tv page there is a translation tab in which you can do suggestion to the translation of your choice (i.e. German)

I think you think the wrong thinking, see http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/windows-alert.html.en#alert-button-order.

Michael, i think you are right. From this view, the order of the buttons is correct.

But for me, it happens severely times, that i clicked the wrong one and because of the window get closed, even which button is pressed, i don't recognized that i have actually started a recording.

For me this window is more like a information window, from within a function (record) is available and this function should placed left of the close button. As an alternative or addition it might be possible to let the window stay open, when the record button is pressed, maybe.

Sorry for bad english. I'm going ahead to get the latest me-tv first.

I concede that you do have half an argument here. The HIG talks about the affirmative action, well there isn't one for this dialog. I would expect that most people just open it have a look at the description, not to record it. Find a authoritative document or a GNOME developer that says that the buttons should be reversed and I will make sure that it happens.
