Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures.
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's "Help -> Report a Problem" menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

I installed the zeitgeist 0.1.3 in my Firefox 3.6.* an modified the install.rdf (maxversion) hoping it would work. Unfortunately no events show up in g-a-j 0.3.4.1. Hope i could clear that.

I hope you can provide an extension working with FF3.6.*

I'm sorry for not responding. Probably I should close this thing.

After all I can't find an xpi-file and didn't figure out how this bzr thing works. I subscribed to the dataproviders package. So I'm waiting now until the extension will show up in synaptic.

Thanks a lot for your great work. I'm loving it so far. And I hope to see much more.

Ian

What version of ubuntu are you running, this zeitgeist should work without a firefox extension. Also please update the gnome activity journal and see if it works for you

I recently updates to Firefox 4.0 and Zeitgeist 0.7.1. There is no change. Zeitgeist is not logging any events. I'm using Firefox ppa- from launchpad (stable-channel).
Chromium and Midori are also installed on my system. No events of either browser are logged.

The firefox dataprovider is not updated for FF4.0
The bug is still open

This is sort of duplicate to it. If you still think it is not a duplicate, please tell. For time-being making it as duplicate
