Bug Description
I have kubuntu 10.04 installed and choosed the PT-PT language for the system language, but the language that is used is not PT-PT but PT-BR. I see this in multiple wait windows messages and system messages like in Kpackagekit when updating packages list it uses PT-BR message.

Hi Helder,
Thanks for reporting this bug. Could you please:
1. Open a terminal
2. Type the following command, followed by Return: locale
3. Copy and paste the output as a comment in this bug
It might also be that it is not a bug, but simply translation fallback in action: as far as I know, Brazilian Portuguese is a fallback for Portuguese, so that if a message is not translated in Portuguese but it is translated in Brazilian, it will be shown in Brazilian, which will be more understandable by users than English.
Did you see this happening in many applications? Are other messages in Portuguese?
