Bug Description

srtp is a build-depend of linphone, needed by kdenetwork

I have verified that the package meets all MIR requirements and are fit to be included in main.

I don't like that this library is reimplementing so much crypto (ciphers, hashes, rng, and various math functions). It should really link against GnuTLS or similar instead of reinventing the wheel.

The only needed library in main (by kdenetwork) is libortp-dev / libortp8.

It seems to be easier to split out this source from linphone and build it from a separate source, and then let linphone use it.

kdenetwork (4:4.6.2-0ubuntu2) natty; urgency=low

  * Remove build-depends on libortp-dev, libmediastreamer-dev, srtp
    doesn't pass MIR and linphone no longer compiles
  * Disable kubuntu_03_no_mediastreamer_in_wlm.diff and
    kubuntu_04_googletalk_no_errormsg_and_knh_support.patch
