Digital Clock: Clicking on calendar should always bring up today's date

Bug Description
On the first click, clicking on the applet brings up evolution calendar with the current date. If the calendar is scrolled, however, next clicks bring up the last opened date instead of today's date. This should always bring up today's date on click, like Gnome, or be configurable.
