Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

With aspell package not installed Empathy seems to be leaking memory. As you type, memory usage will increase rapidly. I often ended up with more than 1GB of memory allocated by Empathy before I found out that it was the aspell package missing.

Actually, the bug seems to be gone now. However, I have noticed that removing package aspell does not prevent Empathy from doing spellchecking any more, so I figure it might have switched to another spellchecker in the meantime?

Thanks for your reply, and I will keep in note that it probably uses a different spell checker.
