Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

(be nice, first time here)

I have a dual head setup running separate X Screens. Both volume and empathy applets do not stay in the same screen after every boot. Sometimes they appear on Screen 0. If I restart my machine they may appear on Screen 1, letting me with no empathy applet on my main screen (0), and a very suspicious volume applet displaying minimum volume (or mute). If I reboot again, the situation may stay the same or reverse (decribed behavior on screen 1).

What I call "the empathy applet" is the one with your name on it, and a cartoon balloon. Also, if I right click-> about, the windows always goes to the screen 0, regardless of where screen I am.

Regards.

Thanks for your bug report and helping to make ubuntu better. This is an xserver issue and I am marking this as such. Could you please also make sure your system is fully updated and verify that this is still an issue for you?

Finally!, thanks for responding.

1. Yes, my system is updated frequently (as soon as update manager pops up). As a matter of fact, the last update was today in the morning.
2. Yes, the problems continue as described above.

That version is no more supported; please open a new bug report if the actual archive found version also has the same issue.
