Laptop web cam image upside down

When I use cheese (the skype does not work at all), the image from monitor camera is upside down.

OK, I take it back. It looks like skype fixed with new version. However the image is upside down in Skype as well.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:

apport-collect 596138

Remember to select the first option when prompted with a dialogue.
This will help us to find and resolve the problem. Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report. Also could you check if the image is displayed properly ,when you test with command:

gstreamer-properties

When you enter the above command , it will open a window "Multimedia Systems Selector" , In the video tab , you can "test" Video default input from the webcam.

When I run "gstreamer-properties" The image is upside down as well...

OK the apport command has been running for about 30 minutes now. I think its broke. However every app that has video displays the picture upside down, including gstreamer....

Since the problem is present even in gstreamer-properties , changing to linux kernel task.

    Would you mind testing this against an upstream mainline kernel as instructed at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/MainlineBuilds?
