Earcandy does not assign to selected device

Bug Description
I love Earcandy but on my home desktop I have more than one audio device and every time i launch an application the sound comes out of the default sound device . So i have to go and manually hit apply again. But in the settings it seems to remember the selected device for each app but does not apply it automatically. I hope there's an easy fix for this.

PS: also when i launch the Earcandy properties all sounds come out of the default device again.

My setup have this bug too. I have to add that even when I set default audio device to "card 2", earcandy repeatedly reset it to "card 1" (every time "banshee" player changes track for example). There is no such behaviour with earcandy uninstalled.
