Bug Description

I was trying to install 10.10 alpha1 (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/maverick/alpha-1/maverick-alternate-amd64.iso).
Installation went fine until installing grub2. This step failed (as well as installation).

Some more details:
/boot was on /dev/sda5 (ext3)
/ was on encrypted logical volume (ext4)
no swap
I was trying to install boot loader on /boot partition, not on MBR.

Hardware: msi u210
