Bug Description

People running gtg from the command line with the script debug.sh doesn't need the crash handler.

1) There should be an option to launch gtg without activating the crash handler.

2) This option should be the default in debug.sh (even without -d)

Totally agreed; I just commented out the code in my local tree in order to do debugging but this felt very substandard. It should be a command-line option to gtg (e.g. --disable-crash-handler) so it can be used even with regular data sets (the case I needed it, the issue could not be reproduced with debug.sh alone).

This will be one of those things that the better it works, the less often we'll need it. ;-)
