Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
I'm not sure there is a bug. But here's what is happening:
1. I have Firefox 3.6.3 in Ubuntu 10.04 on a desktop unit connected to a Linksys N router.
2. The router is new. I had some difficulties setting it up.
3. The unit in question is the only unit connected to the router by ethernet cable.
4. The other machines, all wireless, do not exhibit the problem. All run Ubuntu 10.04 with Firefox 3.6.3.
5.. The problem: certain sites with very high encryption (RC4 128bit) fail to complete loading and opening the site.
6. What you see in all these cases is a blank screen with a thin strip at the top with tiny question marks.
My question: could the router's settings be blocking sites with this type of encryption for wired units, but not for wireless units?

Problem is solved. I had used inappropriate character encoding settings for the sites in question.
