Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

When I double click a contact to open a conversation, if there is already a conversations window open, that window jumps to another desktop. When I receive a message that would start a conversation and click on it (in the messaging menu), the conversation window also jumps to another desktop.

Enabling or disabling "Show incoming messages in the messaging menu" setting doesn't affect this behavior.

Using Empathy 2.30.1 with gnome and xmonad 0.9.1 on Ubuntu 10.4.

Thanks for your bug report and helping to make ubuntu better. This is a xmonad issue and not an empathy one. I am marking as such.
