Bug Description
Sometimes, after starting Mutter manually from the command line, Gnome Terminal's windows are not painted until you do a Ctrl+Alt+D twice or some other mass minimise/maximise to, it seems, flush the caches.
This could also be related to a special-case inside Mutter to deal with shaped and/or transparent windows.
