Bug Description

I disabled ipv6 to speed up thunderbird email connection. It worked fine but when I later tried to use remote desktop viewer it would not start up. I re-enabled ipv6 (not entirely sure how!) and remote desktop viewer worked again.

I am using Ubuntu 10.04. I disabled ipv6 using a method described in a tutorial to disable ipv6 which I found. By inserting ipv6.disable=1 in /etc/default/grub.

Can you test this on Maverick? If this is still occuring, please run "apport-collect 592527" without the quotes in a terminal.
