Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
I have installed Lucid on E4310 and everything works fine. Now I'm trying to connect dual FullHD Dell screens via a docking station's DVI ports. First of all, if I boot the laptop while plugged into the dock, it just freezes as outlined below. If I first boot it and then plug into the dock, the following happens: in the System-
However everything works if I only enable the laptop's LCD and only one of the Dell monitors. I Have also tried disabling the laptop panel prior to enabling the second Dell monitor via lxrandr It allows me to completely disable the built-in panel(leaving just one DVI Dell running) but then as soon as I enable the second Dell, eveything just freezes the same way.
Also after hours of fighting with this, I discovered that the problem doesn't happen if I boot the liveCD. I'm able to enable both DVI monitors on it just fine.

I have a similar problem where the system will completely freeze when I plug a second monitor in. No dock in use in this case.
As soon as I plug in a screen to the RGB plug the system freezes, screen goes blank and the caps lock light starts to flash.
I recall testing this on a live CD before installation and it worked, but I think the live CD I used for that test was 9.04. I currently have 10.04 installed.
