Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
Network Manager applet (on Lucid) shows both wired & wireless connected (to different routers) as I have 2 routers each connected to a different ISP. This works OK for Firefox but printing to printer (USB connected printer connected to another PC connected to wireless router) does not work as the Printer applet says that the printer is not connected. On karmic (& previous), I only got connection to wired (i.e. not wireless ) and I could print by unplugging ethernet cable & connecting wirelessly (i.e. to router connected to another PC with USB printer.

NM connects to wired and wireless at the same time. No problem.
Your system can't find the printer because it doesn't have the write routing configuration. You will have to add that information in Edit Connections....
