Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
If you have exactly 9 tabs open in firefox and want to close one of those tabs, the tabbar gets slightly smaller in the height.
The other way around, if you have 8 tabs and open another tab, the tabbar gets slightly bigger in the height.
I would count it as a "papercut" but I don't know if it's easy to fix this problem.
I think it has to be a bug in the xul-interface.

If already known or not, maybe it is because of the exit-button in the tabbar.
There isn't an exit-button, if you have only one tab. But if you open another tab, the exit-buttons appears and the height increases by one pixel.
Until the eighth tab every tabs has an exit-button. Then, if you add another tab (the ninth) the exit-button disappears from the inactive tabs and the height regains it's normal size.
The increasing of the tabbar by one pixel is so to say due the exit-button in the inactive tabs.
I don't know if it's already fixed in 4.0 (beta) but yeah...
