Animal Farm writes black on black

Installed awn-0.4 on quite vanilla Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic via awn-core ppa.

So far is everything working fine, just the Animal-Farm texts are all black in the black bobble... so they are unfortunately not readable. Changing the theme does not help.

No. The weather-applet is ok f.e.

So... some additional notes:
f.e. the "places"-applet is also affected.
I can change the color of the text by the original ubuntu appearance-dialog
- customize - colors - Windows/Text

That is affecting the whole desktop and is not desired.
It would be a much nicer way to give me/us users a way to change the color of the background in the bobbles.
(May be I just haven't found it?!)

Please run `gconftool-2 --type bool --set /apps/avant-window-navigator/theme/dialog_gtk_mode 1`

The error is just depending on the gnome-theme... it was human-netbook.
Now I upgraded tu lucid and use the ambiance-one.... witch makes the issue obsolete to me for now.
No solution... but who seems to care.

Several applets are affected, switching /apps/avant-window-navigator/theme/dialog_gtk_mode doesn't help. Anyway, marking this as a duplicate of bug in Human Netbook theme.
