Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

After upgrade from UBUNTU 8.10 to UBUNTU 10.04 all applications with 3D acceleration crash (e.g. glxgears, google-earth). The PC freezes and recovery is only possible by power off.
PC is Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo K7600 with ProSavage8, VT8375 video chip.

Can you please try Ubuntu 11.10, also together with the xserver-xorg-video-savage 1:2.3.3-1~oneiric~xup1 package from https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates ?
