Bug Description

This is a really interesting one.

1.You can see in Screenshot.png that I point to a contact who has something like "És az Isten békessége etc." written in her status. But the notification bubble has nothing.

2.In Screenshot-1.png you can see the result of pointing to the contact above her and then setting the pointer back to this first contact. The message of the second contact (e.g. "Mire lehetel képes, ha etc.") is copied in the first contact's bubble.

This doesn't happen with each one of my contacts in the list and it's not constrained to this one either, so it's weird.

Any ideas?

I use Empathy 2.30.1 on an Ubuntu 10.04 machine.

Hey,

Now I use 10.10 beta, and Empathy 2.31.90 and still having this issue.

I've tried to figure out a rule to this bug, i.e. why it appears in case of some of my contacts and why it doesn't for others, but it seam as random as possible except that I noticed it in just one of my groups: FIKE-MIFIKE (see formerly attached files).

norbs, since this bug is not reproduce able in empathy and also there has been another change related to tooltips in empathy I think this bug should be fixed already. if you can reproduce it in ubuntu 10.10 please send the bug upstream and drop a link here and open this bug again by setting the status to 'new' feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
