Bug Description
I have to press my computer's mute button twice to mute the volume. The first time I press mute, the volume indicator appears showing the same setting as before pressing the button. The second time I press mute, the volume indicator actually mutes the volume. This happens when I haven't recently adjusted the volume - if I continually press the mute button, the volume mutes and un-mutes correctly.
I am using Lucid on a MacBookPro1,1

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
-This is a bug and not a papercut /wiki.ubuntu. com/PaperCut.

Don't worry though, this bug has been marked as "Invalid" only in the papercuts project.
