Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Steps to reproduce problem:
- start a fullscreen Terminal
- set bottom panel to autohide
- result is the black stripe (screenshot)
My GPU is a Intel GMA 950 with desktop-effects disabled.

thanks for the report, do you get the same using terminator? that might be a vte issue.
