Messages shows up in Notification Area but not message window

3) What I expected to happen:
I expected the message my contact send to show up in the message window and in the notification area.

4) What happened:
The messages ONLY show up in the notification area but not the message-window.

Does this only happen with MSN? can you please enable proposed repositories from software sources and update your systen and see if the problem is still there.

Yes, this only happens with MSN.

I am pretty sure this bug was fixed with SRU in Lucid.
