Binary package hint: mplayer

yasm is a critical library for DIY compilation of multithreaded mplayer. multithreading will not work unless mplayer (assuming the mt branch) is built with it.

surely nothing to fix in the yasm package

the ubuntu package does not track the git fork.

adding yasm does only seem to effect some parts in the internal avcodec library, while the ubuntu package is supposed to be compiled against the system ffmpeg where this makes no difference.

Am I missing something?

closing this issue as enabling yasm would not have any effect on the mplayer package.
