Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

I've made several attempts to burn a DVD from an ISO image. The ISO image works fine when opened directly with VLC. However, every attempt to burn the ISO with brasero results in an unknown error during finalizing. I'm attaching the log and media debug output.

Thanks for your report, could you get a brasero log? please run brasero as: brasero --brasero-burn-debug --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt ; perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach that resulting log file to the report, thanks.

Further investigation reveals the drive may be failing as even connected to different system running a different operating system it still doesn't behave quite right. I'm awaiting a replacement and will update this report once I've had a chance to test with the new drive.

Got the replacement drive today, installed it in the same enclosure, works fine. Appears to have simply been a failing drive.
