TUXMALUX, RESCAN_ DONE error in your syncdaemon. exceptions. log you might consider upgrading to Lucid. There are a lot of improvements in the newer versions. If you must stay with Karmic you can install the Beta/PPA which will run a newer client in Karmic.
Sorry to hear Ubuntu ONe is not working properly for you. The last Ubuntu release brought a record number of new users. The Ubuntu One Team has been working hard to fix the degraded performance. With the server-side issues it is hard to debug issues right now. Looking at your logs you are getting an error that looks like bug 58393. If things don't improve by next week and you keep getting the SYS_SERVER_
