Bug Description
HTML5 allows for non-XML tags:
http://
Unfortunately Chameleon chokes rather inelegantly on valid HTML5 constructs like <input type=submit> (quotes and trailing slash are optional.
Coming from the ZPT world I find the error messages in Chameleon rather unhelpful.

I'm sorry, but Chameleon is not under active development anymore. If you are able to fix this bug, you can of course send me a patch and I will include it in a new release. But as you can see on our homepage (http:// chameleon. wikidot. com or https:/ /launchpad. net/chameleon), the latest release dates from 2008, more than two years ago.
Personally, I would suggest you use a different blogging engine. Many good such systems are available today, for Ruby on Rails based systems you can take a look at Typo (http:// blog.typosphere .org) or Radiant CMS (http:// radiantcms. org). Chameleon has become outdated over the last two years, is not supported anymore, and I don't know anyone who still uses it. Currently there are better systems out there.
