Bug Description
SSL connections with mysql are not supported. I know some time ago openssl support was disabled because of GPL incompatibility. However, from mysql version 5.0.10 (dapper is shipping 5.0.22) it is possible to use yaSSL which has not licence problems:

Unfortunately, dapper mysql is not compiled with yaSSL: would be nice to do that.

This is fixed in 5.0.22-4. Would be nice to backport this version to dapper...
