Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
I dual boot WinXP and Lucid Lynx LTS using Grub2.
WinXP boots correctly, while Lucid fails approximately 50% of the time.
After selecting Ubuntu the cursor flashes about 20 times then the screen darkens, then the webcam is scanned. The USB webcam which has a light which flashes when it is scanned. When the boot works, the light flashes on and off followed by the 'Ubuntu icon and the blinking lights'.
When the boot fails, the webcam light comes on and stays on ---- until I press reset and start over.
I have added an USB multiplier with the webcam connected. The only difference is the speed of the webcam flashes are slower. The failures still take place.
