Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
on't know if I should sent this by email directly to you, please let me know where to post it if it is not appropriate.
Same behaviour as described in "Ignore TV Output Quirk"; wallpaper is displayed double: 1366*768 (supported by my
VGA-attached monitor) and 800*600 overlayed on top of the same screen.
# lspci -vvnn | grep -A1 "VGA compat" 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS,
943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:27a2] (rev 03)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:27a2]
# dmidecode ouput is attached
# laptop model name and number
Tranquil Silent PC T2e, motherboard=Commell LV677
Based on the X.0.log output I renamed the suggested additions to read LVDS1 instead of LVDS.
Option "monitor-LVDS" "LVDS1" Section "Monitor"
Identifier "LVDS1"
Option "Ignore" "True" EndSection
N.B.: Xorg.0.log also lists a TV1 device, applying the same trick did not resolve in anything special
