Form validation on fromDT field in the scheduler is inconsistent

Steps to reproduce:
* From the scheduler, choose a client to display its schedule.
* Click on the day for today to add a new item to the schedule.
* Click the calendar for the fromDT and choose a date prior to today (eg yesterday)
* Enter sensible data to complete the schedule and click Save.
* The form validation will tell you that you cannot schedule items in the past.
* Now repeat the operation but this time click tomorrow in the fromDT calendar popup
* Now manually ammend the fromDT field to yesterday by typing in the box
* The form validation will now accept the input and save it
