Bug Description

Inkscape 0.47, Win7

Just a small issue, albeit annoying! :)

When entering the width/height of a document, the tab order is incorrect. Since I do this quite a lot (say 10 times daily), I'm quite used to pushing Tab twice instead of the natural once to go from Width to Height field.

1. Sh+Ctrl+D: Bring up the Document Properties window
2. Focus on the Custom Size->Width field
3. Push Tab once, notice Height *does not* get focused
4. Push Tab another time, notice Height gets focus now.

This is a usability/expected behaviour issue, I guess you put it quite low priority, but anyway it makes me annoyed every time I stumble upon it - which is often.

reproduced with Inkscape 0.47+devel r9456 on OS X 10.5.8

The current TAB order is
  Width -> Units -> Height,
preferable would be
  Width -> Height > Units

I decided to add a new comment on this because I beleive it's related.
My experience is that the Tab button under some circumstances make focus to be totally lost.

To reproduce:
* Open Inkscape. No changes made.
* Open Document Properties - Page
* Set width and heigth. Focus seems to change as expected.

* Close Document Properties dialog box.
* Draw something.
* Once again, open Document Properties - Page
* Change Width and hit Tab button.

Now, the main window (that is behind and at this time not avaible until I close the DP dialog box) got focus instead.

Not reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48 and trunk revision 10068.
Does it happen after using a specific tool?

Windows XP SP3

Tab order still persists in Inkscape 0.48+devel r11109.

"Width input field" hereafter just called "WIF"

Steps to reproduce:
* Select all characters in WIF and enter a new numeric value.
* Press Tab button

Now, the focus is where? The Height input field does for sure not have focus. It looks that fokus is somewhere else than the Document Properties dialog box.

It seems that If I omit entering any number in WIF, or manually places the marker (with mouse point/click) somewhere among the digits in WIF - then the Height input field will take focus after pressing Tab.

I have to rephrease the Steps to reproduce -list because I see I might do a thing here that seems to have some influence on the behaviour of the focus.

Same OS & Inkscape version.

I've made a template svg file that measure 300x400px that I use to create new drawings from. This is a writeprotected svg file. I attach it here, but I think the file itself is not that important.

I've a link to that svg (template file) on the desktop.

Steps to reproduce - do nothing but:
* Open the write protected svg file from explorer (assume file association is set ou correctly)
* Press Ctrl+Shift+D
* Place the cursor in WIF, select all (alternatively press Alt+W instead) and enter a valid numeric value
* Press Tab

Now, the focus seems to go to main window instead of the Document properties dialog box.

Expected behaviour is that the Height input field get focus in this case too.
