Bug Description

Binary package hint: btrfs-tools

Our installer now pulls in btrfs-tools, and it is a maverick goal to at least offer btrfs as a non-default file system.

Full MIR yet to be written (not necessarily by me, since I'm only helping out in this cycle), but I'm pre-promoting to unblock alpha-1.

Setting to incomplete until full MIR review happens. I did a cursory packaging check which looks okay.

btrfs-tools reached main for maverick in early June, according to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/btrfs-tools/+publishinghistory .

Hopefully that means the Main Inclusion process was completed?

looks ok for me; two things:

- could somebody subscribe to the bug mails of all the btrfs* packages?
- have a look at convert.c, if the sprintf buffer cannot overflow?

It shouldn't. Only 1 caller of the function, it uses a short string,
and the rest is just an incrementing integer. Even if it did overflow,
it would just break, since FORTIFY_SOURCE should catch it.
