Im not sure what caused it. I have been having a lot of problems with Firefox crashing o pages where there is Flash video, like youtube.

You have package gstreamer0.10-lame installed. It is not from official repositories. You have perhaps installed it from debian-multimedia.org repositories. Please remove that package. It is not needed for Ubuntu.
