the GnoMENU icon is sometimes damaged

Bug Description

The icon is sometimes just a bit corrupt (as on the screenshot), sometimes it's not even there, u find only a blank area (of different colour than the panel).

This is actually a gnome-panel bug caused by the button being to close to the left edge when compiz is activated. The use of orb style menus on a panel that does not know how to use them becomes obvious. The gnome-panel misreads x coordinates and places the bottom half of the orb just off from where compiz reads the x coordinates for the top piece. Because the difference varies from screen sizes there is no real work around.

However, if you move the button on the panel just a few pixels right the images will sync up.

And what about this one on the screenshot? Here's the reason probably different. I've been using GnoMenu for 2 days and it has been damaged in some way already 3 times...

That one is caused by the video driver. I get that too and has notta to do with GnoMenu since mine is at the bottom left.
