Bug Description

After I purchased an album (my credit card was charged the proper amount) and go to "My Downloads" in the Rhythmbox Music Store I am presented with a blank page with the following notice, "There was a (temporary) problem getting your list of purchased songs. Please wait a short time and then try again, or return to the music store." After two days the notice has not changed and the music files are still not present at https://one.ubuntu.com/files/.

Oops... just read your last sentence. We will soon run a script which will refresh songs that hit download errors.

This error is still occurring. No downloads are available. Not sure why this is marked incomplete, what's missing?

What is the status of this bug? What am I supposed to do about the $7.99 that Ubuntu charged me and refuses to give me the songs?

I seem to be having the same problem. Bought a 7.77 album and I have no way of downloading it right now but I've gotten the confirmation email that I have been charged. None of the files are present at my Ubuntu one account either.

Goomby have just contacted me thru #ubuntuone and told me this bug is happening for him also.
I've checked the download logs and can't find his songs, and the web server logs don't show any problem either, so I'm guessing it must be a problem with the music store web page.

+1 this has happened to me over and over, since 10.04 came out until now (just today again). ugh!

Not sure why this can't be fixed it is so frustrating to have paid for the music and not be able to listen to it. My ubuntu one is connected (as displayed by the gnome-applet). Also everything u1 seems to sync. Seems to be a 7digital issue.

This is affecting me now, but I think it's because 7digital refunded me an album that didn't download properly. I should have 2 albums in my music store, one of which was there before the refund, but needs re-downloading and one i bought since. The one I bought afterwards has transferred anyway, but I can't access the downloads page to re-download the other album.

Same thing occurred to me last week. Tried 3 times, got charged 3 times, however when I contacted 7digital they refunded me for the 3 failed attempts. Wondering if there is a fix available, or if a fix will be provided soon. Right now I have no confidence in trying to purchase any music through the Rhythmbox Music Store.

I also have the same problem with "There was a (temporary) problem getting your list of purchased songs. Please wait a short time and then try again, or return to the music store." on both Banshee & Rhythmbox on ALL 3 of my machines. I have looked high and low and have found no work arounds or fixes for this bug.

Hi,

I bought many albums in the past. Then I played around with the albums on my disk and the ubuntu one synchronization. Now, if I go to one.ubuntu.com, I see the albums I marked for synching (I added some to the ".ubuntuone/Purchased from Ubuntu One" apart from the ones purchased on ubuntu one music store) online, but the drectory names have changed (I think) to this:
~/.ubuntuone/Purchased from Ubuntu One/Puchased_album_1

This doesn't look like the expected name, I guess, but doesn't look incorrect either.

However, now I cannot purchase anything else: I get the "Connecting you to the Ubuntu One Music Store..." error and when I go to "My Downloads" I get the same error described above: "There was a (temporary) problem getting your list of purchased songs. Please wait a short time and then try again, or return to the music store."

I am happy to give any additional feedback. This is so frustrating, I've been trying to buy an album for 2 weeks wihtout any luck.
thanks

I do have the exact same issue as the reporter of the bug. I've purchased an album 2 days ago and got charged by paypal. When and how will that be fixed? Should I claim back the money over paypal?

Thanks for the support. I did contact a support from within Rythmbox. I cannot tell you what this was again. Anyway I did receive a mail from 7digital telling me they received my request. This is now already several days ago without any response from them. I did report it from the Ubuntustore in Rythmbox.

Looking forward to get my music soon. :-)
