Bug Description
None of the sqlite enabled branches (the 2.3 or the pre3 branch) have support for dbus notification bubbles. The configuration options are no-op, and there are no calls to util.notify().
I would very much like to be able to move off the desktopcloud dependency for the Fedora package, but until this core functionality is working, to do so would be a regression.
