Thoggen missing GStreamer plugins for 10.04

I tried installing Thoggen DVD ripper onto Ubuntu 10.04 via [Applications > Ubuntu Software Center] and [System > Admin > Synaptic Package Manager] and all Thoggen tells me that I'm missing these plugins:

- GStreamer element dtsdec
- GStreamer element ffdeinterlace

Thoggen keeps telling me that there are "No packages with requested plugins found." yet I have Ubuntu [Software Sources] - Downloadable from the Internet - Main, Universe, Restricted, and Multiverse all checked off, via download from [Main Server]

NOTE: Thoggen worked great on Ubuntu 9.10 - I used it often for converting DVD's to CD or memory stick sized files. I've only had this problem since I reformatted the hard drive and installed 10.04 from scratch.

Hi, I have the same problem.

Im running Lucid with gStreamer ppa
Thoggen 0.7.1
gStreamer PPA (webM/vp8 support)

In ogm rip work flawless, but Thoggen keep error relating to dtsdec.

These things should be available in the Universe package repository.

have you tried installing ubuntu-restricted-extras?
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
