Bug Description
Version 0.3.1.1 from Ubuntu repository
OS: Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS
Expected behavior:
Two or more song in the same folder with the same meta-data should be recognized in the automatic collection scan.
Actual behavior:
If two different files in the same folder have the same meta-info (Title, Album Name, etc) the second file is disregarded by the collection scan. Manually adding the second file to the collection does not work. Manually adding the second file to the playlist allows it to be played.
For example, Bob Dylan's Planet Waves album has to songs called "Forever Young" (tracks 6 and 7). Different content, different sizes, and different filenames. However, the meta-data is the same since they have the same title and appear on the same album. Exaile correctly identifies the first file but ignores the second and will not recognize it even when you try to manually it to the collection.
Exaile will recognize multiple files with the same meta-data if they are in different directories.
