Bug Description

I was trying to install Edgy Knot2 to existing LVM setup, but installer or partman-lvm didn't find my existing LV's. PV's were detected okay and according to debug log VG's too. Choosing "Configure LVM" option from installer menu didn't do anything.

As a result, I couldn't create new LV for Edgy Knot 2 root partition.

Is it possible, that you have "-" character in the VG or the LV name? I have similar problems and I think these character cause it (I have in in both, VG and LV name).

I don't have '-' character in either VG or LV names.

My single VG is named VolGrp00 and LV's are LVHome, LVRoot, LVSwap, LVEdgyRoot and LVVmware.
