Bug Description
Binary package hint: gvfs
I just bought a Western Digital My Book World II 4TB NAS which does transfers over nfs, ftp and cifs. I would prefer cifs since that is easier to be discovered in nautilus currently and unlike nfs support doesn't hang. However while the NAS has a tiny 200Mhz ARM cpu it is capable of doing roughly 13MB/s via nfs but over cifs nautilus only reports 1.3MB/s over cifs (reports and this is the actual speed as well).
