I had pam_mount set up to mount a few CIFS shares, and it worked great under 8.04. I just did a clean install of 10.04, added my volume definitions to /etc/security/
4)
Nothing gets mounted when a user logs in. I turned on debugging (<debug enable="2" />), and pam_mount says (via syslog) that there are no volumes to mount. For the record, I can mount these shares manually from the 10.04 system using "mount -t cifs ...".
I had a similar issue. My issue was because %USER now returns domain\user format. I switched it to $(DOMAIN_USER) and it corrected that issue. Sadly, it leads to other issues.
