Grabbing of Window Classes doesn't work in 'Place windows - Fixed window placement'

3) The window-class should be taken over by the parent dialogue of 'edit match', which is the 'edit' dialogue
4) only 'class=' was taken over by 'edit' dialogue

When adding a new "fixed placement mode" (actually every option of the 3 fixed window placement modes) one can 'grab' a window, preferably by window class. If i do that, the window-class is correctly grabbed in the 'edit match' dialogue, but won't be taken over by the 'edit' dialogue. It always results in 'class=' instead of e.g. 'class=Evolution'

This also happened to me in the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation adjustments" plugin, where it is even more annoying:

* Open the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation adjustments" plugin, this puts you on the opacity tab
* Go to "Window specific settings" and press "New"
* _First_ adjust the "Window values" slider to something other than 0, or this will get nasty
* Press the "+" Button next to the "Windows" field
* Put anything in the "Type" dropdown and "Value" Field
* Press "Add"
* The edit window only gets the "Type" selection, not the content of the "Value" field, e.g. only "class=" instead of "class=Ccsm"
* This often matches every window: "class=" matched every single window on my screen, including the GNOME panels.
* The new settings are applied immediately. This means that if you haven't adjusted the "Window values" slider before, now every window has an opacity of 0%, so every window disappears and you're left with an empty desktop, wondering what just happened.

Apart from fixing this bug, I think it might also be a good idea to have the "Window values" slider default to something other than zero, at least for opacity, so people won't have windows suddenly disappear on them.

Holy Jesus Christ dude, last night I stumbled into the "class=" with the window-brightness trap described in the last post, and it took me an hour and a half to figure out what the hell to do. The only remedy that I found was to `gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz` , which resets all Compiz settings.

Something needs to be done with this ASAP. If an average, unskilled user runs into this problem and can't figure out how to fix it, it basically bricks Ubuntu for them.
