bad accel in .it localization

the 'Go' menu is translated as 'Vai', with an Alt+A accel (V_ai).

This prevents 'Select All' from working which is really annoying.

Not sure what to suggest... using 'Va_i' is the quickest workaround (V is already taken). The reality is that it should not use the Alt+A shortcut for select all, since Alt+letter is for menus accels, but I have the feeling that such a change would need quite a bit of convin cing :)

Unfortunately thunderbird doesn't use Rosetta for translation.
For this issue it is necessary to contact the italian mozilla team at http://www.mozillaitalia.it/ .

For select-all in Thunderbird use crtl-a.

Can I ask if this is still an issue for you? For me at least both ALT + A & CTRL + A are used for Select All,

I am unsure of what is used to trigger the Go menu though, however I will investigate.

Alex: Yes, the problem is still there (even if I switched back to evolution, I just double checked)

With regard to the comment by Maurizio, ctrl+A selects all the contents in the message display, but what I mean is "select all messages", that is the Edit->Selection->All menu item which still has a Alt+A accel
