I found this bugreport upstream, but the binaries of the current source work flawlessy under windows seven. Therefor I think this is due to mono in lucid lynx.

As former active TheLastRipper developer... I can confirm this bug... I've been getting mail from Windows users with the same problem... So it's probably not a .Net/mono issue.
My guess is that last.fm did some redirects which TheLastRipper doesn't handle nicely... Anyway, I'll look into this as soon as I can find the time.
